What are the benefits for using laser engraver box?

The laser engraver has a galvanometric movement system, in addition to an advanced scanning system, in order to provide a great increase in productivity and product quality. Due to the galvanometric head, with its mirrors and micro-servo motors, the laser engraver offers greater agility in moving the laser, being able to reach a speed 20 times greater than the XY gantry system, used in laser cutting and engraving machines more popular.

Benefits are seen on a laser engraver:

- Because its type of laser is optical fiber, the laser engraver box for metal allows engraving on metals and some polymers in which the laser has very little effectiveness. Therefore, this equipment is widely requested by the market.

- The laser is indicated for engraving on any type of metal, such as personalization of gifts, visual communication, metallic labels, signage, jewelry, traceability systems through QR code and bar code, automotive license plates, accessories, and opaque plastics.

- The laser engraver box for metal has a fiber laser system that greatly reduces maintenance, as its components are highly durable and have a long service life, eliminating the need to replace parts in the short and medium term and reducing costs.

- In addition, the metal laser engraver is equipped with a much more effective laser beam with lower consumption, making it suitable for industrial processing services with continuous high-volume production. The metal laser engraver enclosure also has two optional accessories that boost service productivity, namely:

1. The treadmill, which promotes much faster engraving processing without the need for human involvement in changing materials;

2. The rotating axis, allows engraving on a tubular surface, such as bottles, squeezes, cans, or glasses, in addition to also helping in processing productivity.

What applications does laser cutting have?

Today, laser cutting is used in many different industries: from electronics to medicine, to the automotive and aerospace industries, among others.

One of the most common applications is to cut metal (steel, aluminum, etc.). Although the laser is also used to cut ceramics, silicone, and other non-metals such as cardboard.

Perhaps one of the most interesting is the use of laser cutting for surgery, where the laser is replacing the scalpel. This is especially useful in procedures that require high precision such as eye surgery.

In addition, it can also be used to create non-blister packs and trays, such as custom cartons and wooden boxes.

What benefits does this technology offer?

Laser cutting has different advantages and benefits depending on the use that is given to them.

The main advantages are the high precision and production capacity it provides. Also, laser-cutting machines are much cheaper than machining (CNC) machines. Finally, they also have the advantage of accepting many different types of materials and of being a process that requires hardly any human handling, thus reducing the chances of contamination.

However, it is a process that also has its drawbacks. Among others, laser cutting requires great energy, so the electricity bill can increase significantly. In addition, there is a risk that when a piece is steamed for cutting, toxic gases are emitted (especially in the case of plastic). Finally, thicker materials are difficult to cut with this technology and there is a risk of slightly burned edges characteristic of lasers.

- The high precision it offers allows you to record more detailed images and have cleaner cuts. In addition to providing a smoother cutting edge, especially on materials thicker than 3mm.
- The production speed is greater since the entire process is computerized and does not require human labor.
- A wide range of materials can be cut without damaging them because there is no direct contact between the machine and the material to be edited.
- It is a much more effective option compared to cutting and engraving on traditional milling machines since its CNC mechanism allows it. Not to mention the symmetry of all the parts to be processed.
- It is compatible with any vector software such as Corel Draw up to X7, eps, Auto Cad, and AutoCAD DXF, including Illustrator. If you have your ideas created in these programs, the creation process will be much faster.
- It does not generate waste such as sawdust, for this reason, there is less loss of material. There is no probability of defective or different parts from the rest of the series.
- Atomstack enclosure is very safe when using it since it does not require human intervention in the process, and if such interference is needed, we always do it using suitable equipment.
- Its cutting option works best on materials that have a maximum thickness of 15 mm, while engraving has no drawbacks unless you bring us steel materials.
- Produces very high beam power with efficiency relative to its spray power. Hence, it is mainly used for material processing applications such as MDF, melamine...
- It offers a low cost per watt along with good infrared beam quality, yet also generates high spray power ranging from a few watts up to 15KWatts.
- Laser engraver enclosure has a long useful life of about 20,000 hours on average, so you still have time to customize your furniture with us.
